Terms of Service
Last updated October 4, 2026
Please read these terms carefully. They explain your rights, our responsibilities, billing, and the limits of what Better Days provides.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Better Days at better-days.life (the "Service"), operated by Jaden Helena ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf, and that guardian is responsible for any purchases. The Service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and tell us promptly about any unauthorized use. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Subscriptions, trial and billing
New accounts receive a 7-day free trial that does not require a card. When the trial ends, paid areas lock until you subscribe.
Paid plans (Basic and Pro) are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically each month until cancelled. Prices are shown on the Pricing page and may include applicable taxes. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
You can cancel at any time from Settings → Manage billing. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Plan upgrades take effect immediately with a prorated charge; downgrades credit unused time.
We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. Changes apply from your next billing period after notice.
Promo codes are single-use per person per month, have no cash value, and may be withdrawn at any time.
5. Refunds
Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial months. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days and we will review it in good faith. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.
6. Not medical, nutritional, mental-health or academic advice
The Service is a personal organisation and habit-tracking tool. Content such as activity logs, nutrition and macro estimates, breathing and relaxation tools, mood tracking and AI chat responses are for general information only and are not medical, nutritional, psychological, financial or professional advice.
Always consult a qualified professional before starting an exercise program or changing your diet, and stop any activity that causes pain or discomfort. Nutrition values from barcodes or photos are estimates and may be wrong.
If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (US Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or your local emergency number immediately. The Service cannot respond to emergencies.
7. AI features
Some features (study tutor, life chat, homework explanations, study guides and meal-photo estimates) use artificial intelligence. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date — check important information yourself. Do not upload content you do not have the right to share, or sensitive personal information about other people.
Students are responsible for following their school's academic-integrity rules. The Service is meant to help you learn, not to submit AI work as your own.
8. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you add (habits, journals, photos, documents, notes). You give us a limited licence to store, process and display it only to operate the Service for you. You confirm you have the rights to anything you upload.
9. Acceptable use
Do not: break the law; upload illegal, harmful, hateful or infringing material; harass anyone; try to access other users' data; reverse-engineer, overload or disrupt the Service; resell access; or use automated tools to scrape it. Contact details you store for other people must be used respectfully and lawfully.
10. Third-party services
The Service links to or embeds third-party services (for example YouTube, Quizlet, Kahoot, Blooket, Google Classroom, Open Food Facts and creative apps). We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or policies. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.
11. Intellectual property
The Service, its design, text, graphics and code belong to Jaden Helena and are protected by law. You may not copy or reuse them except as allowed by these Terms.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR THAT DATA WILL NEVER BE LOST.
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS OR GOODWILL, OR ANY INJURY ARISING FROM ACTIVITIES YOU UNDERTAKE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 3 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR $50 IF YOU PAID NOTHING.
14. Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your content, your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
15. Termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms or if required by law. Sections that by nature should survive (payment, disclaimers, liability, disputes) survive termination.
16. Disputes and governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us and try to resolve it informally for 30 days. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. To the extent permitted by law, claims must be brought individually, not as part of a class action.
17. Changes
We may update these Terms. If changes are material we will notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
18. Copyright and DMCA takedowns
We respect intellectual property and respond to notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe content uploaded to the Service infringes your copyright, email our designated agent at whiterxvn0328@gmail.com with: (1) your physical or electronic signature; (2) identification of the copyrighted work; (3) identification of the infringing material and where it is located; (4) your contact information; (5) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law; and (6) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorised to act for the owner.
We will remove or disable access to infringing material and may terminate accounts of repeat infringers. If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice with the same details.
