Privacy Policy
Last updated October 4, 2026
Your data is yours. Here is exactly what we collect, why, who helps us run the app, and how to delete it.
1. Who we are
Better Days is operated by Jaden Helena in Florida, USA. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. Contact: whiterxvn0328@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
Account information: email address, display name, password (stored encrypted by our authentication provider) or Google sign-in details.
Content you add: habits, goals, activities, records, nutrition entries, moods, journal entries, classes, assignments, study sessions, study links, contacts you choose to save (names, phone numbers, emails), uploaded photos and documents, and AI chat messages.
Payment information: handled by Stripe. We receive your subscription status, plan and billing period, but never your full card number.
Technical information: basic device, browser and log data needed to keep the Service secure and working. Camera access is used only when you press a camera button and only to take the photo you capture.
3. How we use it
To provide and personalise the Service, process payments, enforce plan limits, respond to support requests, keep accounts secure, prevent abuse and comply with law. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
4. AI processing
When you use AI features, the text, photos or documents you submit are sent to our AI provider to generate the response. They are processed only to answer your request and are not used by us to train models.
5. Who we share it with
Service providers who run the Service on our behalf: hosting and database (Lovable Cloud), payments (Stripe), AI processing (Lovable AI Gateway and its model providers), and product lookups (Open Food Facts — only the barcode). We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.
6. Security and retention
Your data is protected by encryption in transit and access rules that let each account see only its own records. No system is perfectly secure. We keep your data while your account is active and delete it within 30 days after you ask us to delete your account, except records we must keep for legal, tax or billing reasons.
7. Children
The Service is for people 13 and older. Users under 18 should use it with a parent's or guardian's permission. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13; if you believe a child under 13 has an account, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Your rights
You can view and edit most of your data inside the app. You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal information by emailing us. Depending on where you live (for example California, Virginia, Colorado, or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights, including the right to opt out of sale (we do not sell data) and to not be discriminated against for using your rights. We will respond within the time required by law.
9. Cookies and local storage
We use only essential browser storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences like your theme. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
10. International users
The Service is operated from the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the United States.
11. Changes
We may update this policy and will post the new date at the top. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email.
